Steve Andrade

Steve Andrade is Founder and Managing Partner of New Standard Ventures, a private investment firm focused on commercial real estate and related operating businesses.

He brings more than three decades of executive and investment leadership experience spanning technology-driven enterprises and asset-intensive businesses. Over the course of his career, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of private companies and as a senior executive and corporate officer within publicly traded enterprises, with direct responsibility for enterprise P&L, balance sheet management, capital formation, debt facilities, and merger and acquisition execution.

Throughout his career, Steve has partnered with boards of directors on capital allocation priorities, strategic transactions, governance matters, and organizational transformation. He has led global business operations within healthcare technology, enterprise software, and life sciences markets, with direct P&L responsibility across international regions and distributed executive teams.

At New Standard Ventures, he oversees long-term capital deployment and portfolio stewardship, emphasizing disciplined investment selection and durable operating performance.

He serves on the boards of private investment and operating companies and advises technology, life sciences, and business services enterprises. Based in Asheville, North Carolina, he remains engaged in philanthropic initiatives supporting education, animal welfare, and architectural and historic preservation within his community. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy.
